3.0.250 – 6 October 2025

Features

  • Latitude and longitude values now displayed in degrees

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Delta-T could be incorrectly offset from the start of a lap
  • Ideal lap video now doesn’t jump back after pausing when using x-axis types other than position
  • Resolved several issues with maths channels when language is set to German
  • Now prevent invalid characters being used in file renaming

  • Ability to add custom sectors directly on the map - Click on the 'Track Options' [..] button, then 'Custom Sectors' to show the 'Sector Editor'.
  • File rename facility now present.
  • CAN Channel naming from HD Lite files is now reflected in CT3

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue whereby pit lane markers would disappear when switching between laps and sessions mode.
  • Fixed bug with map being zoomed out after being hidden then shown again.
  • Fixed bug whereby sectors in the lap data table were occasionally beyond the extend of the scrollable region.
  • Fixed bug with maths channel units not displaying on the graph.
  • Issues with setting start finish lines in some situations have been resolved.
  • Fixed bug whereby changing graph axis setting didn't refresh graph data.
  • Fixed issue when adjusting sector count for custom tracks.
  • Fixed issue preventing playback when the video pane was hidden.

Features

  • More intuitive approach to setting custom start/finish line on non-circuit db files
  • Double click action now maximizes video pane.
  • Escape key now restores view if one display pane is maximized.
  • German language now fully supported. Change language in Settings -> General -> Language.

Bug Fixes

  • User selected ‘Ref’ lap is now retained when ticking a faster lap.
  • Histograms were not reflecting units once they were changed in settings.
  • Fixed bug resulting in Channels occasionally being removed graph.
  • Fixed bug causing map trace to be lost when closing one file with 3 files open.
  • Fixed bugs when exporting pit lane and accuracy of pit lane location.
  • Fixed an issue that could occur when open a file from file explorer and having more than 1 Circuit Tools 3 instance open.

Bug Fix

  • Fixed an issue preventing normal use of Circuit Tools 3 when Windows was using certain display languages.
  • Fixed issue with delta-t displaying incorrectly when ideal or multi-ideal were set to ‘ref’ lap
  • Fixed occasional crashing issue when ticking and unticking laps quickly.
  • Fixed issue loading certain files that do not have associated video
