We are pleased to announce the release of our new VBOX Lap Timer (RLVBLAP-S) on the latest hardware platform for our professional motorsport display products. 

VBOX Lap Timer has been given a significant GNSS upgrade to 25Hz and an improvement in its computation of speed and position by utilising 4 different satellite constellations. This upgrade enhances the performance and reliability of the lap timer.

The primary on-screen functionality that you all know and love remains mostly the same, however we have made a considerable improvement to the Delta Velocity feedback via the new LED array across the top of the screen. Descriptions and animations for the LED behaviour will appear in our user documentation on our support centre later this week.

You may also notice a new button on the left side of the device. This is our new function button, and for the first release, pressing the function button will quickly change the screen to speed mode for 10s and then revert to the previous mode. We intend to update the functionality moving forward so that our customers could assign a specific task or function via the settings menu.
