Never Miss a Session
Speed-triggered logging means HD1 starts recording automatically when you move and stops when you do. No missed sessions, no hours of meaningless footage. A configurable pre-buffer of up to 30 seconds ensures everything is captured, right from the race start.

Built for Motorsport
Not an action camera adapted for the track — a video data logger designed for it. Vehicle-powered, rated from −20°C to +60°C, reinforced body, replaceable toughened-glass lens, and a tether point to keep you safe and scrutineering-compliant.

Live Data Overlay
Speed, g-force, lap times and track map, embedded into your 1080p video and synced frame by frame – plus throttle, brake pressure, gear, temps, and any other ECU or dashboard data you want. Fully customisable scenes, or ready-made layouts if you just want to plug in and drive.

Circuit Tools 3 – Included Free
The data to find time yourself. Compare laps, see exactly where you brake, turn in and get back on the power –rated by users as the most intuitive circuit analysis software available. No subscription. No paywall.

Plug and Play
One unit, one cable. Camera, GNSS antenna and recorder are all integrated – mount it, power it, drive. Roll cage mount included in the box.

Set Up From Your Phone
Frame your shot from the driver's seat. The VBOX Video app connects over Wi-Fi for live camera preview, orientation fine-tuning and field of view setup.

Three Fields of View
Swap between Narrow (66°), Normal (92°) and Wide (132°) modes – choose the framing that suits your car, from single-seater to full-cabin saloon, without moving the camera.

One Camera. Two CAN Buses.
HD1 logs CAN messages across two isolated CAN buses, supporting both CAN 2.0 and CAN FD. Open the session in Circuit Tools 3 and see exactly what happened – was that two-tenths gain a braking point, an apex, or a throttle application?

Predictive Lap Timing

Track Database with Auto Track Map

Stream It Live
HDMI output sends real-time video, audio, and overlay graphics straight to a monitor, recorder, or streaming device. No other video and data logging system at this price point offers HDMI output, making it easy to get your footage beyond your own laptop.

Latest-Generation Recording
H.265 (HEVC) encoding with dynamic bit rate delivers outstanding 1080p quality with efficient storage – around 8.5 GB per hour, tested with cards up to 512 GB.
Circuit Tools 3. Free. Always
Circuit Tools has been the industry standard driver analysis software for over a decade. HD1 owners get full access from day one, and all future updates are included.
Video sync, sector-by-sector comparison, automated lap analysis, and the new Insights feature help you find those last tenths. It's powerful enough to be used in professional motorsport, but designed to be immediately useful to anyone who wants to improve – regardless of how much time they've spent with data before. It really is The Quickest Way To Go Faster.
HOVER OVER THE DOTS TO LEARN MORE!

Fastest Lap Filter
The fastest lap from your latest session is automatically selected and displayed on the graph, with the video jumped to its start.
Alongside it, the Ideal Lap stitches together your best sector times across every loaded session — a theoretical best that shows exactly how much time is still on the table.
Import runs from other days, drivers or sessions and click any lap time to compare.
Combo G / Delta-T
Delta-T shows the time gained or lost against a reference lap, sample by sample, so you can pinpoint exactly where the time went.
Channel values at the graph cursor – Speed and Delta-T by default, or any logged CAN channel – are shown live alongside it.
The new Insights window builds on this with corner-by-corner Combo-G and grip analysis.
Side By Side Video
Watch data-synchronised 1080p video from two sessions side by side, in slow motion, to compare the lines each driver took. Step through frame by frame with a single key combination.
Auto Track Map and Position
Circuit Tools recognises your circuit from a database of over 1000 tracks and separates your laps automatically using the start/finish line.
Driving on a track that isn't in the database? Automatic corner detection now maps it for you, and your position is tracked live as you scrub through the data.
Satellite Map
Satellite track maps show your driven line with corner labels and notes, or switch to the new Heat Map view to colour the lap by any channel.
Spot where temperatures, pressures or delta time spike as you drive.

Insights
Step through every corner on the lap and see exactly where grip was left on the table.
Braking and turn-in grip are scored against a target you set, with flags like "Check trail braking" when you're leaving performance behind. Combo-G map and G Ball trace show where you're using the car's full grip potential, corner by corner.
Add notes as you go, then pull it all into a Track Report to share.
Real-time Graphic Overlay
RACELOGIC's range of in-car camera systems are fully synchronised and embed a real-time graphical overlay on your video, allowing you to instantly analyse your performance and pinpoint areas for improvement.
The overlays can display speed, track position, lap times, and other crucial metrics, which are invaluable for drivers seeking to improve performance or teams needing detailed post-race analytics.

Why HD1?
Simpler to set up. Certain to record.
HD1 is quicker to install and simpler to set up, and Circuit Tools 3 is consistently rated by users as more intuitive than the alternatives.
Above all: reliability. You should never leave the pit lane wondering whether your video and data will be there when you get back.
Coaching makes you consistent. Data makes you faster.
AI based systems tell you to repeat your previous best — but your previous best isn't the limit.
HD1 with Circuit Tools 3 gives you the actual data: braking points, apex speeds, throttle traces, lap against lap. You see where the time is, understand why, and go find it.
It knows it's on a race track.
Powered by the car, it records when you're on track and stops when you're not — no battery to charge, no record button to forget, no thermal shutdown in a hot cabin or open cockpit.
And your speed, g-force and lap times are in the video, not just the view.
